This CD is a celebration of Diane's song writing partnership with Don Woodson..."The Old Poet, himself." Included is Diane's "The Ghost of Townes Van Zandt", which is a tribute to Townes and Wrecks Bell's Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe in Galveston, Texas. She's also brought back most of the musicians she had on her first CD with the addition of a few more that promise not to disappoint the lover of good acoustic musicianship.
Still available is Diane's first CD "Between the Sun and My Shadow". Highly touted Mandolin legend Ronnie McCoury, four-time IBMA Mandolin Champion, lends his talents on two cuts on the album. The recording also features guitarist Kenny Smith, who has been the IBMA Guitar Player Champion for three years and is currently a member of the Lonesome River Band, Daniel Carwile, winner of the Grand Masters Fiddle Championships in Nashville, and Rick Rorex, two time Alabama Mandolin Champion and winner of the prestigious mandolin competition at the National Flatpicking Championships in Winfield, Kansas.
